Laura Tarver is in the Monroe office of Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson, L.L.P. She graduated cum laude with a B.S. from the University of Mississippi in 1998. She received her Juris Doctor in 2004 from the University of Tennessee College of Law. She practices in the areas of medical malpractice defense, premises liability, tax sale litigation, interdictions, and wills and successions.
Laura has experience defending hospitals, pharmacies, physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses in medical malpractice claims before the Patient’s Compensation Fund and in the district and appellate courts. She also advises healthcare clients on medical consent and end of life issues that arise in the healthcare setting.
Laura also has experience handling judicial commitment and interdiction proceedings on behalf of corporate and individual clients.
She also handles tax sale litigation appeals, drafts wills and other estate planning documents and handles successions on behalf of individual clients.
Laura is an AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review rated attorney by Martindale Hubbell.
