Kelsey C. Luckett

Kelsey Luckett is a partner in the Baton Rouge office, practicing in the area of casualty litigation. She received her Juris Doctor with honors from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2015. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University, with honors, in 2012. Kelsey practices in the area of casualty litigation, premises liability, workers' compensation, medical malpractice defense, and administrative law.

Kelsey has extensive experience defending healthcare providers in malpractice claims both before the Patient's Compensation Fund and in the court system. She also acts as defense counsel for employers and their insurers involved in complex workers' compensation disputes and provides regulatory advice to employers in the context of workers' compensation practices. Kelsey also defends law enforcement officers in suits involving claims brought under 42 U.S.C. 1983. She also has experience handling complex class action matters.

Kelsey also practices in the area of administrative law. She serves as general counsel to several state licensing boards. Her experience in this area includes providing regulatory advice to state agencies in their day-to-day operations, as well as serving as prosecuting attorney in disciplinary proceedings adverse to licensees.

Kelsey has experience in Elder Law, as she handles interdictions and estate and property disputes.
