Mr. Goodman attended Tulane University on a basketball scholarship where he graduated cum laude in 1967. Mr. Goodman attended Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he graduated in 1970 and was the Articles Editor of the Georgetown Law Review. After law school, Mr. Goodman clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Rachael Jeanfreau is an associate in the New Orleans office, practicing in the areas of commercial litigation and labor and employment law. Ms. Jeanfreau received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, magna cum laude, in 2011 where she was a member of the Tulane Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University, summa cum laude, in 2007.

E. Fredrick Preis, Jr. is a partner whose practice is primarily focused on labor and employment law. Prior to serving as an officer in the United States Army, Fred earned both his undergraduate degree in business and his law degree from Louisiana State University. Mr. Preis has been representing management in labor law and employee relations matters throughout the United States. As both a trial lawyer and advisor, Fred has served as lead labor counsel for Fortune 500 companies, as well as trade associations and employers in numerous mid-sized and small industries and businesses throughout the United States. Fred is both the former chairman of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI). He is currently the Board counsel for the Society for Human Resource Management, New Orleans (SHRM).

Eve B. Masinter attended Paul M. Hebert Law School, Louisiana State University where she served on the Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif. She is a partner concentrating her practice in employment, business and healthcare litigation in both state and federal courts, including class action defense. She has handled administrative matters with Medicare, OSHA and the EEOC. She also handles insurance coverage issues. Ms. Masinter is experienced in injunction proceedings in non-compete cases, on the side of management in those involving Unions and in the areas of EEO laws, anti-discrimination, harassment and retaliation, the ADAAA, GINA, discipline and termination of employees, record keeping, medical records and health care liability issues. She often conducts employee and supervisor training on issues such as avoiding harassment and retaliation in the work place.

Joseph R. Hugg is an associate in the New Orleans office, practicing in the Labor and Employment section. Mr. Hugg received his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School in 2007 and his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the University of the South in 2004. Mr. Goodman attended Tulane University on a basketball scholarship where he graduated cum laude in 1967. Mr. Goodman attended Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., where he graduated in 1970 and was the Articles Editor of the Georgetown Law Review. After law school, Mr. Goodman clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.

Rachael Jeanfreau is an associate in the New Orleans office, practicing in the areas of commercial litigation and labor and employment law. Ms. Jeanfreau received her Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School, magna cum laude, in 2011 where she was a member of the Tulane Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University, summa cum laude, in 2007.

E. Fredrick Preis, Jr. is a partner whose practice is primarily focused on labor and employment law. Prior to serving as an officer in the United States Army, Fred earned both his undergraduate degree in business and his law degree from Louisiana State University. Mr. Preis has been representing management in labor law and employee relations matters throughout the United States. As both a trial lawyer and advisor, Fred has served as lead labor counsel for Fortune 500 companies, as well as trade associations and employers in numerous mid-sized and small industries and businesses throughout the United States. Fred is both the former chairman of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI). He is currently the Board counsel for the Society for Human Resource Management, New Orleans (SHRM).

Eve B. Masinter attended Paul M. Hebert Law School, Louisiana State University where she served on the Law Review and graduated Order of the Coif. She is a partner concentrating her practice in employment, business and healthcare litigation in both state and federal courts, including class action defense. She has handled administrative matters with Medicare, OSHA and the EEOC. She also handles insurance coverage issues. Ms. Masinter is experienced in injunction proceedings in non-compete cases, on the side of management in those involving Unions and in the areas of EEO laws, anti-discrimination, harassment and retaliation, the ADAAA, GINA, discipline and termination of employees, record keeping, medical records and health care liability issues. She often conducts employee and supervisor training on issues such as avoiding harassment and retaliation in the work place.

Joseph R. Hugg is an associate in the New Orleans office, practicing in the Labor and Employment section. Mr. Hugg received his Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School in 2007 and his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the University of the South in 2004. Mr. Hugg's practice focuses primarily on managing the defense of employment discrimination and wage-and-hour lawsuits and administrative charges on behalf of local and national corporations, as well as advising management on employee relations and traditional labor law issues.

Wesley M. Plaisance is an associate in the New Orleans office whose practice includes gaming, commercial litigation, and bankruptcy and loan restructuring. Plaisance graduated magna cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2007 where he was a member of the Loyola Law Review from 2004-07.
