Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson Congratulates Jude Bursavich and Trenton Oubre on their recent trial victory.

Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson congratulates Jude Bursavich and Trent Oubre on their successful defense of The Council for A Better Louisiana (CABL) and Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB). The plaintiffs' claimed that LPB's televised U.S. Senate debate hosted by CABL set forth unfair participation criteria that excluded candidates. The criteria, set forth by CABL required candidates to have an established campaign, $1 million in fundraising money and poll at 5 percent or higher in an independent poll. After a two-day hearing to consider the two sides arguments, District Judge Tim Kelly dismissed the claims brought, and ruled that the debate can air as planned with no additions to the participant list. The debate will be broadcast on Tuesday, October 18 on LPB. View the news story here: http://ow.ly/SLHO305btRy
